The shares in Vanderschoot have been acquired from Univeg by means of a mangement buyout. Further, Watertoren Hazerswoude B.V. has backed the buyout as an investor. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the management.

Parties
Vanderschoot is one of the oldest bulb growers of the Netherlands. The company is located in Voorhout, and supplies leading retailers. The company has started its international operations in 1963, but the firm’s history traces back to the early 1800’s.
