Acquisition of ATO Bedrijfsopleidingen by AB Vakwerk

AB Vakwerk acquired 100% of the shares in ATO Bedrijfsopleiding. Rembrandt Mergers & Acquisitions assisted the buyer in realizing this transaction. The acquisition is part of AB Vakwerk's change of course in 2019 towards a secondment and training provider in the flexible labour market. Managing Director Marco Meijer : "With the acquisition of ATO we are responding to the changing labour market and more specifically the increasing scarcity of good skilled workers."

AB Vakwerk
With eleven branches in the north of the Netherlands and an annual turnover of 95 million euros, AB Vakwerk is a major presence in the field of secondment and training, especially in the green, construction, civil engineering and logistics sectors. AB Vakwerk has developed an acquisition strategy together with Rembrandt Mergers & Acquisitions. ATO Bedrijfsopleidingen fits very well within this acquisition strategy. Marco Meijer: "By training our own employees we are better able to meet the demands of both the customer and the employee. It helps us to create the right match with targeted retraining."
