Management Buy-In at Snel Industrie

Rapida B.V. has acquired the shares in Stanvenplak Materieel B.V. and Snel Industrie voor Karton en Papierveredeling B.V. (Snel) from A.A. Snel junior Holding B.V. through a management buy-in. The team of Rembrandt Mergers & Acquisitions advised the seller in realizing this transaction.

Packaging specialist

External succesion
The owner of Snel, approaching retirement age, was seeking external succession for his company, preferably an entrepreneurial manager. The buyer held commercial positions in various management boards and was ready for a new challenge. Following the introduction in December 2014, the parties started the process in January and completed the transaction in July 2015.

Financing
Rabobank Oost Betuwe U.A., the principal bank of Snel, has partly financed the acquisition.
