Jagenberg AG has acquired the shares in Verseidag Ballistic Protection GmbH (part of Gamma Holding N.V.). Rembrandt M&A acted as the financial advisor of the seller.

Gamma Holding N.V. globally develops, produces, and distributes products based on technical textiles. Gamma Holding comprises two divisions: Gamma Technologies, and Gamma Comfort & Style. The Gamma Technologies division comprises enterprises that specialize in technical textiles, such as firms active in conveyor belts, filters, bulletproof materials, billboards, and fabrics for sails and tents. The Gamma Comfort & Style division produces high quality patterned fabrics. The company is headquartered in Helmond, the Netherlands. The company has over 2100 employees, and was listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange before the 2011 private equity buyout.

Verseidag Ballistic Protection is a German supplier of technical textiles. These products have various purposes, such as bulletproof vests. At this moment, the company is part of the (also German) Rheinmetall Defence.

Jagenberg is a German holding company of several machine and textile companies. The company was founded in 1878 by Ferdinand Jagenberg in Düsseldorf, Germany. Jagenberg has over a thousand employees.
