Pon’s Automobielhandel B.V. (Pon) acquired the shares in Bongers Automotive B.V. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exlcusive financial advisor to the seller.

Parties
Bongers Automotive was one of the largest Volkswagen/Audi dealerships in the Netherlands. The company had six branches in the Eindhoven area. AB Lease was also part of the company. Auto Bongers had approximately 175 employees at the time of the merger. The company has a rich history, and was founded in the 1940s as a travel agency and taxi company.

Pon Holdings is an international trading company with a focus on the automotive market and the market for electrical systems and construction supplies. Pon has particularly grown by importing Volkswagen and other VAG labels (such as Audi, Seat, and Skoda) in the Netherlands, which the company started doing in 1947. Pon also has its own group of car dealerships, with 12 branches and 300 employees. Here, Volkswagens en Audis are offered, as well as damage repair and maintenance.
