Hoveco Holding B.V. has sold 50% of the shares in Pitzhof Pilzsubstrat Wallhausen GmbH (Wallhausen) to other shareholder Walkro B.V. Rembrandt M&A acted as the advisor of the Rabobank in the context of the bankruptcy sale of Hoveco Holding B.V.

Parties
Wallhausen is a producer of loose mushroom substrate grown through with mycelium, and fructified trays for the production of mushrooms. Customers of the firm include mushroom growers from all over Europe. Wallhausen’s production facilities cover 82,000 m². Wallhausen is located near Halle, in the center of Germany.

Heveco Holding was the holding of Heveco, one of the largest producers of fresh mushrooms in Europe. Heveco had branches in the Netherlands, England, Germany, and Belgium. The company sold its products all over Europe, to both large retailers and small specialty stores.
