Sportfondsen is a large operator of sports and free time facilities, the organization operates over three hundred sports accomodations in the sports, recration, and health industry, ranging from small sports facilities to multifunctional centers. Sportfondsen was founded in 1923 as a saving system by Han Bierenbroodspot, in 1927 enough savings were accumulated to build the first swimming pool.
