Dresdner VPV N.V. (Dresdner) has acquired the shares in De Vries & Co B.V. (De Vries). Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the seller.

Parties
De Vries & Co was a wealth management firm focused on wealthy individual clients, specialized in value investing. Post-takeover, De Vries was integrated into Dresdner VPV. Subsequently, as the result of a 2009 management buy-out, Dresdner VPV was seperated from Dresdner bank, and changed its name to Hof Hoorneman. Therefore, at this moment, De Vries & Co is part of Hof Hoorneman Bankiers, which has been active in wealth management since 1989. Hof Hoorneman employs around 55 people. The company is headquartered in Gouda, and also has offices in four other places in the Netherlands.
