Acquisition RedStar by The Flavour Farm, Hoogweg, Young Grow and Growers United

Transaction
The Flavour Farm, Hoogweg Paprikakwekerijen, Young Grow, and Van der Linden Participaties (member of the Growers United Cooperative) have acquired the cultivation sites of Red Star. The Flavour Farm has also acquired the sales organization RedStar Sales. Rembrandt M&A advised RedStar in completing this transaction.

RedStar
RedStar is a Dutch tomato grower focused on premium flavour tomatoes with several proprietary brands, its own sales organization, and approximately 66 hectares of greenhouse area.

Buyers
The Flavour Farm is part of the UK investment firm Cibus Capital. The Flavour Farm was launched in 2023 with the acquisition of Duijvestijn Tomaten. With the acquisition of RedStar Sales and the site in Dinteloord, TFF continues to grow.

Hoogweg Paprikakwekerijen is located next to RedStar’s site in Luttelgeest and will convert the site for pepper cultivation.

Young Grow has acquired the five sites on Voorne-Putten with a total area of approximately 23 hectares. Van der Linden Participaties, member of the Growers United Cooperative, will convert the greenhouse in Vierpolders for cucumber cultivation.
