Acquisition of Big Boss Valkenburg by Posthuma Groep

Posthuma Bouwmarkten Groep B.V. (Posthuma) has acquired 100% of the activities of Bouwmarkt Van Eijsden (Big Boss Valkenburg). Rembrandt M&A has acted as the exclusive financial advisor of the buyer.

Parties
Posthuma Groep is the owner of 19 franchises of Karwei hardware stores. The company was established in 1972 as a construction company, and in addition to retail it also operates in homebuilding and infrastructure construction. Further, Posthuma Groep is the parent company of a real estate investor.

Big Boss Valkenburg was a franchise under the Big Boss concept. Currently, the Big Boss concept has continued under the Multimate brand. In the Netherlands, there are over 60 Multimate franchises.
