Bogaarts Automatisering B.V. acquired the shares in AKZO Nobel Car Refinishes B.V. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the buyer.

Parties
Bogaarts is an automation company for the automotive sector. Bogaarts sells WinCar software packages for car companies, motorbike companies, and repair companies. In 2008, the company became part of Reynolds and Reynolds, a deal that was also advised on by Rembrandt M&A. The company merged with the existing UCS companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, and currently forms a fully integrated part of Reynolds & Reynolds.

Akzo Nobel is a Dutch multionational with activities in the fields paints, coatings, and (specialty) chemicals. The company was founded in 1994, and is the result of the merger between AKZO and Nobel. The company has around 50,000 employees.
