Divestment of Boskoopse Veiling U.A.

Flora Holland acquired the activities of Coöperatieve Boskoopse Veiling. Rembrandt M&A acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the seller.

Coöperatieve Boskoopse Veiling was an auction house specialized in decorative trees in Boskoop, the Netherlands. This auction house was owned by tree growers in the region. At the time of the acquisition, the auction house had 12 employees.

FloraHolland is a cooperative organization for growers of decorative plants, with over 5000 members. The organization has annual revenues of 4.4 billion euros and has over 4000 employees. The acquisition enables tree growers connected to Coöperatieve Boskoopse Veiling to get access to a larger market, and allows for the realization of economies of scale.
